Monster help!!

monsterOkay... I have to say I have never had a theme in my room.. I get to bored with things staying up to much! But I am going to bite the bullet and choose one!  (I had a hard time narrowing down my choices)  I decided to make it a monster theme!  Yeah! I have polka dots on my bulletin boards so adding colorful monsters will not be to hard!

Okay now I need some sayings for my boards.

So far I have:

"Monster"-iffic Good Work!

Eye hope you have "Monster"-ous good time!

"Monster"ous Welcome to Kindergarten

Don't let Reading scare you, be a Monster Reader!

Any other ideas!!  HELP!

  2. Not sure what the sayings were, but was just in Michael's, and they have several new 'Monster Theme' teacher goodies! :) Worth checking out if you have a Michael's near you! :)

  3. Maybe for student of the week--Creature Feature or Mon-STAR of the week?

    Screaming Good Work

I also keep thinking Monster "Math"--instead of Mash--corny, I know.

  5. I really wanted to do a monster theme this year (our school went with sailing). The saying I liked best was "Learn like Wild!"

I would love to see pictures...I was so excited about using cute little monsters in my room :(

  7. I saw where Scholastic was publishing some really cute monsters for sale... You might get more ideas from them.

  8. I'm doing Monsters this year, too! Have you looked into the Furry Friends collection of bulletin board sets? They're adorable. My calendar was getting a little worn out so I bought the Furry Friends calendar set, the birthday chart and some monster decals.

This was the cutest idea I found online-
'We are all M.O.N.S.T.E.R.S.- Motivated Outstanding Nice Special Terrific Energetic Responsible Students'. I might change some of the words and use it on a board in my room.

  9. I use a monster theme, and have a bulletin board for kids to display their artwork. It's heading is "Monsterpieces" and the kids love putting their monster drawings on it!
