It amazes me how busy life can get sometimes! My son is finishing up learning to play hockey and is starting baseball! There goes my Saturdays! We do not have Spring Break or Easter Break here in NC for another 4 weeks... I hope to make it... just kidding! We finished our weather unit and have started on Spring! I have not made much new stuff for spring but found a wonderful blog Kindergarten Hoppenings!!! Shannon Martin has great activities, games and worksheets! I have used many of them already and will be using many of the spring stuff! What fun!
My little sweeties needed some more practice in a fun way! They are really learning and getting good at being detectives! To differentiate these I had the high flyers draw the weather pictures on the back of the paper and label them! They loved it!
I am watching American Idol and taping Survivor to watch later as I am blogging! We have been working all week on St. Patrick's day fun with rainbows, leprechauns and shamrocks! The leprechaun has been visiting us and bringing us treats! Tomorrow we will be trying to trap him and looking for his gold dust! Everyone better keep an eye out for that sneaky leprechaun! Don't forget to wear your green!
Land, Sea and Air! We are studying transportation this week! There are so many great books and fun activities that go along with this theme! We started the day with a picture sort of real vehicles, ships, hot air balloons and many other things that go!
Highway Letter Cards - a fun way to have them drive the letters! Besides Dr Jean has many ideas for them! I love all her idea!
I love this art project! I can't remember where I saw a picture on a website of this to give them there credit! If anyone knows where it is let me know so I can give them there due credit! I had to draw the parts from the picture to make a pattern! They are just so cute! I have more Dr. Seuss pictures but none seem to want to work tonight! I will post more later and the pattern! Have a great day tomorrow!
