Valentine's Mini Tags

I can't believe Valentine's Day is Monday!  Unbelievable!!  I made these for those little gifts to say I care.  I plan to punch a hole or heart hole in the corners and tie them onto little things for others.  I am going to use them for cute little hand towel I got for Kaden to give to his teachers!  I am also heading over to What a Teacher Wants to print out their adorable cards!  If you haven't checked them out head over there now!  Happy Valentine's Day to Everyone!

Crazy Day!

I just had one of those day!  We had a two hour delay due to a dusting of snow....  and it was the 100th day!  I had made all these plans for a sub because I was going to a workshop!  The workshop got canceled and I was almost late for school due to traffic!  Oh my... but at the end of the day with parent help we had our 100th day trail mix.  Awesome!  One of my little girls came up to me and said, "This was the best day ever!" and gave me hug!  How cute!  It just made my day!  TGIF!!

write the room

I got this idea from many other wonderful blogs and my kids absolutely love doing this in a center!   It keeps them busy and can be done quickly!  I am going to create a few more to put into my center and will upload them later!  I have been at home stalking other blogs with a sick child!  He had a little stomach bug and missed school for 2 days!  Poor thing!  He is all better now and bouncing off the walls and driving me crazy!  All well it is better than seeing him sick! Happy Friday!

Updated** I added the write around the room charts.  This has alway been a favorite in my class about this time of year.  My kinders are so ready to write and share what they have learned with confidence!  The Free Write section is for them to write whatever words they want to!  That is usually their favorite part! Have a wonderful Weekend!

Barbie Roper.. I have heard every joke there is about my name!  I am a Barbara but no one ever calls me that!  I grew up in Oregon and went to college at Whitworth University in Spokane, WA.  I have a BA in psychology and a MA in Elem Ed.  I went back to school to be a teacher after working with kids with behavior issues.  My husband hates taking pictures hence none of him on here but my other love Kaden loves it!  I have taught kindergarten at the same school for the last 10 years!  It is great place to work! We have one dog coco and two cats!

Kaden and I in the car waiting until his practice started!
Turned out to be a cute picture!

Our sweet doggy Coco!  Giving a bath to K??  ewww!
