Happy Sunday, friends! ☀️
I’ve spent some time lately interviewing potential new teammates, and it has me feeling really grateful for the heart that teachers bring into this profession. 💛 It’s also reminded me of a few simple things that really stand out during interviews—so I thought I’d share in case it helps someone preparing!
✨ A few friendly tips for teacher interviews:
• Be yourself—we want to see you, not a list of buzzwords
• Share real classroom examples (the good, the messy, and the meaningful!)
• Show your love for kids—that always shines through
• Be open to learning and growing (none of us have it all figured out!)
• Let your passion come through—it matters more than perfection
At the end of the day, we’re not looking for perfect… we’re looking for genuine, kind, and student-centered people to join our team. 💕
If you’re heading into an interview soon, you’ve got this!
